As a strategic partner of the Axel Springer Awards 2020, Einhell Germany AG will be joining Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s “Mission to Mars”. Tenpower lies at the very heart of Einhell’s Power X-Change battery (PCX) platform. Since the platform's inception in 2014, Tenpower has been Einhell’s exclusive supplier of lithium-ion battery cells, supplying Einhell with more than 100 million cells.

Tenpower Announces 3.6 GWh Capacity Expansion Plan

Tenpower announced a 1.26 billion Chinese yuan investment plan to expand its lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing plant 2 in Zhangjiagang. As a result, Tenpower’s annual production capacity will reach 700 million cells upon completion of the expansion scheme. The first production line expects to start operation as early as October 2021, and the full expansion plan is expected to be completed during 2022.
